Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a formal medical reception or customer service program.
• Two years of medical receptionist experience or customer service experience.
• One year of data lookup/data entry on computer systems.
• Strong organization and ability to juggle priorities.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and administer co-pays accurately.
• Schedule appointments using computerized systems per policies.
• Register and verify patient information and insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate specialty appointments and communicate wait times.
• Maintain clinic workflow and assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinic staff.
