Job summary

Oak-Orchard-Community-Health-Center,-Inc is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide front-desk customer service for patients arriving and departing the facility. You will register new patients in the EMR, verify demographics and insurance information, and schedule future appointments in person and by phone.

You will greet patients, collect payments, manage appointment reminders, and maintain a clean, organized front desk area.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in the EMR and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Greet patients and guests and check them in/out.
• Schedule appointments in person and by phone.
• Process payments and refer to Financial Office if needed.
• Balance cash receipts and prepare reports.
• Respond to patient and physician inquiries.
• Schedule interpreters as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional front desk and waiting area.
