Health First in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Patient Relations to ensure high standards of customer service, regulatory compliance, and financial integrity within the revenue cycle. The role supports scheduling, billing, and compliance across service lines.

You will register patients, verify authorizations, perform Medicare-related tasks, determine coverage, and collect co-pays. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30 with one Saturday per month at the Viera

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• AHA HeartSaver CPR AED certification before start date.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare charts and verify authorizations for scheduled patients.
• Register patients with two identifiers and confirm armband accuracy.
• Perform Medicare compliance review and ABN handling.
• Complete MSPQ for beneficiaries.
• Verify insurance eligibility and determine coverage before service.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and collect co-pays.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and assist training staff.
• Daily reconciliation of payments and bank deposits.
