Health First in Florida is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Patient Relations to support the Mission and financial integrity by delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring regulatory compliance within the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities include chart preparation, verifying authorizations, Medicare reviews, estimating patient financial responsibility, and assisting with staff training, all on a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends and hours 10:30am–9:00pm.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Customer Service experience.
• AHA HeartSaver CPR AED certification prior to start date and maintained.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare charts for scheduled patients and verify authorizations.
• Register patients with two identifiers and confirm armband accuracy.
• Perform Medicare compliance review to determine coverage and ABN needs.
• Complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire (MSPQ) for beneficiaries.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to and after care.
• Calculate patients' co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance and provide estimates.
