Job summary

Allegro Pediatrics is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and families. This full-time role involves four 10-hour shifts across Eastside clinics, handling scheduling, check-ins/outs, and patient inquiries with a commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities include verifying demographics, processing forms, collecting co-pays, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Proficient with computers and multiple software programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to all clinics as staffing needs change.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Background check and drug testing required.
• Vaccination status policies and mask requirements in clinic.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments using the Practice Management system.
• When in clinic, verify demographics and check patients in/out using the Practice Management system.
• Troubleshoot issues with appointments or account questions.
• Maintain understanding of scheduling policies to assist families.
• Verify and scan patient insurance and consent forms; collect co-pays and post to accounts.
• Process, distribute, and scan correspondence and reports; handle forms (camp physicals, authorization, sports physicals).
