Capital Area Pediatrics in Herndon, VA is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for families. You will handle scheduling, patient intake in Athena EMR, and reception duties with a focus on friendly, efficient service.

This role requires at least one year of front desk or healthcare admin experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a high school diploma. You will work Monday-Thursday evenings with additional shifts available.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of front desk or healthcare admin experience.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records; Athena preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, families, and visitors as the first point of contact.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient intake in Athena EMR.
• Receive and respond to calls, emails, and texts from families.
• Collect copays and payments; post transactions to patient accounts.
• Maintain patient records following scheduling and registration procedures.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support patient care and office operations.
• Conduct outreach for preventive care, well visits, immunizations, and chronic care management.
• Support administrative duties as assigned.
