Bay Area Foot Care in Santa Rosa is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to be the first contact for our patients and support a smooth, patient-centered office.

You will answer calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, use EMR systems, and assist clinicians with front-office duties in a busy podiatry practice.

Fluency in Spanish and a professional appearance and attitude are required, along with prior medical front-office experience.

Qualifications

• Prior medical front office experience REQUIRED.
• Spanish fluency is required.
• EMR systems experience (1 year preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Professional attire, behavior and language.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude.
• Schedule new patient appointments promptly.
• Schedule and book follow-up patient appointments.
• Take messages accurately and ensure follow through.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Route electronic faxes to the correct team member.
• Confirm insurance benefits and deductibles.
• Use of electronic medical records.
• Faxing, copying, stocking, and assisting staff as needed.

We are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist specialist for our Santa Rosa medical office location. This team member is a vital part of BAFC as s/he is nearly always the first contact people have with our practice. The successful candidate will work well with our existing team of professionals to create an environment strong in customer service, organization and responsibility while creating and supporting a smooth operating office.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Expertly answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude
• Ensure new patient appointments are scheduled promptly
• Schedule/book follow up patient appointments
• Take messages accurately and ensure follow through
• Provide superior customer service
• Route electronic faxes to the correct team member

Other duties may include:

• Confirming insurance benefits and deductibles
• Use of electronic medical records
• Faxing, copying, stocking
• Assist the doctors and office medical staff with various duties
