Bay Area Foot Care is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact in our Bay Area clinic. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, accuracy in messaging, and efficient scheduling in a busy medical office.

The ideal candidate will handle multi-tasked duties, work well with a team, and maintain professional appearance and communication. In-person work, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior medical front office experience is required.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred (1 year).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude.
• Ensure new patient appointments are scheduled promptly.
• Schedule and book follow-up patient appointments.
• Take messages accurately and ensure follow through.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Route electronic faxes to the correct team member.
• Confirm insurance benefits and deductibles.
• Use of electronic medical records.
• Assist doctors and office staff with duties.
