Bay Area Foot Care, a premier podiatry medical group in the Bay Area, seeks a full-time Medical Receptionist to be the first contact for patients. In-person role in Burlingame, CA, with responsibilities including phone support, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification.

Ideal candidate will have prior medical front office experience, be calm under pressure, and demonstrate outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Answer a multi-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude.
• Schedule new patient appointments promptly.
• Schedule and book follow-up patient appointments.
• Take messages accurately and ensure follow-through.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Route electronic faxes to the correct team member.
• Confirm insurance benefits and deductibles.
• Use of electronic medical records (EMR).
• Faxing, copying, stocking, and assisting doctors and staff.

We are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist specialist for our medical office location. This team member is a vital part of BAFC as s/he is nearly always the first contact people have with our practice. The successful candidate will work well with our existing team of professionals to create an environment strong in customer service, organization and responsibility while creating and supporting a smooth operating office.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Expertly answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude


• Ensure new patient appointments are scheduled promptly


• Schedule/book follow up patient appointments


• Take messages accurately and ensure follow through


• Provide superior customer service


• Route electronic faxes to the correct team member

Other duties may include:

• Confirming insurance benefits and deductibles


• Use of electronic medical records


• Faxing, copying, stocking


• Assist the doctors and office medical staff with various duties
