Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is hiring a Full-time Patient Services Representative to greet and check-in patients at our main location, 555 N Arlington Ave in Reno. The role focuses on accurate data entry, insurance verification, and smooth patient flow in a busy orthopedic clinic.

The ideal candidate has reception experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to balance cash drawers while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience performing reception duties is preferred (1 year).
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Experience using computer systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Enter patient demographic information in the electronic medical records.
• Scan photo IDs and insurance cards and verify insurances.
• Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated.
• Balance money drawers at end of day.
• Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics.
