Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) in Carson City is looking for a friendly Patient Services Rep to greet patients and manage check-in at the ROC Clinic.

You will enter patient demographics into the electronic medical record, scan IDs and insurance cards, collect co-pays, balance cash drawers, and help maintain a calm, efficient patient flow. A high school diploma and one year of reception experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of experience performing reception duties.
• Experience with patient check-in and billing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out patients, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Enter patient demographic information into electronic medical records.
• Scan photo IDs and insurance cards and verify insurances.
• Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated.
• Balance money drawers at end of day.
