Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, Cartersville, GA, seeks a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, check them in/out, and assist with appointments, insurance questions, and procedures. In this full-time, on-site role, you will collect co-pays, schedule visits, input demographics into the EMR, and help keep the front office organized in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in a medical office, knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems (Epic a plus).
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, patient-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in and out, and help with questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures.
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances accurately while explaining financial policies as needed.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer incoming calls, and ensure timely patient communication and follow-through.
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance information, and visit details into the EMR system.
• Open and close the front office, keep the waiting area clean and organized, and support clinic flow.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, people-facing role.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and staff.
• Juggle multiple responsibilities with poise and attention to detail.
• Love organizing tasks and solving front-desk challenges.
• Work independently while being a strong team player.

What You'll Do

As a Patient Services Representative at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
