Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Atlanta is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the friendly first contact for patients. You will check in/out, collect payments, schedule visits, and manage the front office in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic.

You will input patient data into the EMR, answer inquiries, and coordinate care with a collaborative team. This on-site, full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems (Epic a plus).
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, patient-focused demeanor.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and discretion with patient information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in and out, and answer questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures.
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances while explaining policies as needed.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer calls, and ensure timely patient communication.
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance information, and visit details in the EMR.
• Open and close the front office, keep the waiting area clean and organized, and work EMR buckets to support clinic flow.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, people-facing role.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and staff.
• Juggle multiple responsibilities with poise and attention to detail.
• Love organizing tasks and solving front-desk challenges.
• Work independently while being a strong team player.

What You'll Do
