Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Service Representative to be the first point of contact for members and patients, assisting with registration and check-in while handling cash and payments per policy. The role focuses on patient needs, rapport building, and efficient use of KP technologies to aid navigation and service delivery.

Employees will schedule appointments, verify benefits and demographics, and provide guidance to patients.

Responsabilidades

• Greets members/patients and provides reception services, directing to care locations and assisting with check-in via KP systems.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance coverage, and collects payment as required by the plan and fee schedule.
• Provides information to family members while maintaining confidentiality and assisting with use of KP interactive technologies.
• Schedules appointments and follow-ups via phone, mail, or in person, updating demographics and eligibility as needed.
• Answers calls, relays messages, and supports staff with patient flow and administrative tasks.
• Maintains courteous relations with patients and staff, adheres to KP Service Standards and cash handling policies.
• Coordinates with Optical and Laboratory services as needed for orders, inventory, and specimen handling.
