Revo Health is hiring a Patient Services Representative at the Edina Specialty Surgery Center. You will register patients, verify insurance, and manage pre-op and chart-related tasks. The role requires customer service experience and basic medical terminology knowledge.

The position is full-time, on-site in Edina, MN with early start times and a varied schedule. CPR/BLS certification is preferred or obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) certification or completed upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register surgery patients; obtain insurance information and signatures at registration.
• Verify patient insurance is updated.
• Enter new or changed patient information from pre-op calls into system.
• Manage H&Ps history for upcoming surgery patients.
• Prepare and break down patient charts.
• Assist with pre-operative calls and surgery scheduling.
• Monitor fax for operative reports and pathology reports.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
• Report occurrences through the center’s reporting process.
• Foster education and development of staff and students.
• Support continuing education and departmental requirements.
• Help manage controllable costs by efficient use of center resources.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
