Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Registration Specialist for outpatient registration and insurance verification to ensure accurate patient data for services.

The role is full-time with a mix of 6:30a-3p and 7:30a-4p, Monday–Friday with weekend rotation and campus rotations. A high school diploma and excellent customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge required with the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent phone and customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete, accurate and relevant patient data for outpatient registration.
• Completes patient insurance verification.
• Works across multiple systems simultaneously.
• Rotates to multiple locations as needed.

Requirements:

Work Shift Details:

Days, Full-time.
Primary hours: mix of 630a-3p, 730a-4p
Primary days: Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required.
Rotation to multiple locations required.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$17.29 - $21.62
