Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is hiring for an outpatient registration role. You will obtain complete, accurate patient data for scheduling and registration and perform patient insurance verification to support efficient care access.

The position is full-time with afternoon shifts, Monday–Friday and weekend rotation. Prior Cerner experience and customer service skills are preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work in multiple systems.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent phone and customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete, accurate and relevant patient data for scheduling and registration for the outpatient population.
• Completes patient insurance verification.

Salary

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $17.29 - $21.62. The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
