Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide clerical support in a physician clinic. You will greet patients, manage reception, process demographics in the electronic health record, and assist with referrals, billing, and data gathering.

Collaborate with the care team to identify and address barriers to care, schedule appointments, and maintain confidential patient charts and payments at the point of service, ensuring a high standard of patient-centered care.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with basic office tasks including telephone answering, reception, and filing.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical insurance payers preferred.

• Greet patients and caregivers and provide assistance reflecting high quality service.
• Verify and update demographic data in the electronic health record; identify barriers to communication and finances.
• Gather and process information for medical records, referrals, billing, and treatment purposes.
