Healthstar Physicians, P.C. is seeking a PSR/Clerical professional to greet and register patients, verify insurance, and prepare records for daily appointments at our Morristown locations.

The role requires accurate data entry, strong customer service, and proficiency with EMR systems (Athena) and scheduling tools (Avreo). The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to lift 30-50 pounds, and work on-site in a full-time capacity with reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Greet patients and register in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Verify demographics and insurance information in the medical record.
• Prepare patient medical records for daily appointments.
• Maintain and update appointment profiles and schedules.
• Balance drawer and collect co-pays and small balances when required.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones, screen calls, and provide information.
• Ensure appointments are scheduled in Avreo and Athena in correct time slots.
• Release medical records per practice policy.
• Assist other staff and attend required meetings.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
