Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of medical office experience.
• Experience navigating an electronic health record system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure patients complete required forms for EHR and billing.
• Maintain patient demographics and verify insurance eligibility; collect co-pays.
• Support patient flow at front desk for timely arrivals.
• Answer questions about registration or billing.
• Refer medical inquiries to the medical assistant or physician.
• Schedule patients with appropriate physician.
• Document scanning into the EHR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
