RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support the Essex Hudson Urology department in Bloomfield, NJ. The role involves greeting patients, scheduling, and managing a smooth patient experience with a focus on accuracy and privacy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and bilingual abilities in Spanish and/or Portuguese. The position is full-time with day shifts and some Saturdays. Training EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Answers routine questions in person and over the telephone.
• Performs basic clerical tasks (copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, mail).
• Maintains health record information and organizes files.
• Coordinates with insurance providers and handles pre-authorizations.
