SolutionHealth in Manchester, NH is seeking a Patient Service Representative for Employee Health and Wellness. The role provides essential administrative support, registers patients, verifies demographics, and enters data into the EMR.

You will greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, coordinate appointments, request records, triage calls, maintain the waiting area, and assist with new employee orientation. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets, registers, and arrives patients into department and hospital systems.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information; scans insurance card.
• Obtains patient signatures on hospital forms and routes appropriately.
• Answers calls and visitors; triages and takes messages as needed.
• Enters patient registration, referrals, and appointments into the EMR.
• Requests medical records from referring facilities for new appointments.
• Reviews and sorts patient records; prepares them for nursing review.
• Maintains waiting area appearance and stocks refreshments and supplies.
• Assists with scheduling of ancillary patient appointments.
• Interacts with patients and families to coordinate care; assists in orientation of new staff.
