Job summary

20 Elliot Hospital of the City of Manchester is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support Employee Health & Wellness with essential administrative duties. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage check-in/check-out while entering data into the hospital EMR and coordinating appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients in hospital data systems.
• Verifies demographics and insurance information; scans cards.
• Obtains signatures on forms and routes them properly.
• Answers calls, triages messages, and directs inquiries.
• Enters registrations, referrals and appointments into the EMR.
• Assists with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments.
• Maintains waiting area appearance and supports staff as needed.
