Job summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, data entry, record-keeping, and ensuring specimens are collected and transported correctly while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers appropriately.
• Ensures all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Explains venipuncture and other specimen collection methods clearly and calmly.
• Disposes of biohazard materials per laws and policies.
• Completes requisitions accurately in PathConnect or other systems.
• Maintains daily records and logs for PSC/IOPST.
• Performs electronic data entry and basic clerical duties.
