Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients, explaining procedures and building trust.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Performs post-venipuncture verification and ensures tubes are labeled correctly in patient presence.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
