Job summary

Synectics Inc. seeks a Patient Services Representative II to greet patients, collect quality blood samples, and prepare specimens for testing. You will explain procedures, verify demographics, and maintain a professional environment across multiple sites in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have pediatric phlebotomy experience, with strong customer service skills and flexibility to cover weekends or holidays. Training and confidentiality are emphasized at Synectics Inc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years pediatric experience.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills for pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Flexible hours, weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Commitment to company policies, safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure safe, accurate blood draws.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Perform daily activities under supervision and on schedule.
• Travel to multiple locations to cover Patient Service Center / In-Office phlebotomy needs.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling after venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
