Responsibilities

• Verifies, re-verifies and authorizes patient insurance coverage and eligibility using registration/scheduling system.
• Verifies and updates demographic, insurance, and other patient information.
• Collects and posts patient co-payments and other outstanding balances.
• Handles patient-care related calls from the inbound queue per department metrics.
• Notifies providers and patients of scheduling changes and add-ons.
