Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a bachelor’s degree in related field
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian (preferred)
• Minimum of one year experience in food service management in an acute care setting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet office systems

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and oversee patient food services based on medical direction
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service staff
• Ensure dietary restrictions are followed per diet orders
• Support patient satisfaction goals through services
• Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
• Lead quality improvement programs within the department
