Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in City, State. The role focuses on aligning dietary services with medical directions, ensuring patient satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in food service, with management experience in acute care, and skills in MS Office, EMR, and diet office

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year work experience in food services or related field or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food service management in an acute care setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to meet patient preferences within diet order limitations
• Ensures patient services staff assist in achieving patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards including federal, state, and accrediting agencies; maintains confidentiality and HIPAA
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, department meetings, and facility-wide QA/PI programs
