Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Patient Services Manager to lead the patient services team in an acute care setting. The role focuses on aligning dietary services with medical directions, coaching staff, and achieving patient satisfaction within regulatory guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in food service management, with certification options (CDM, RD, or RDT) preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field.
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian, or Registered Diet Technician preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting.
• ServSafe certification desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet office systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services based on medical direction and patient population.
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members.
• Ensures compliance with dietary restrictions and diet orders while meeting patient preferences.
• Supports patient satisfaction programs and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Complies with federal, state, and accrediting agency standards and HIPAA regulations.
