Responsibilities include supervising PSRs, ensuring policy compliance, coordinating registrations and eligibility tasks, and providing data reporting to the Practice

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of administrative experience in outpatient settings.
  • Experience with an Electronic Practice Management system.
  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and payor portals.
  • Experience with financial counseling regarding copays, deductibles, and sliding fee scales.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Primary Care Patient Service Representatives (PSR).
  • Ensure PSRs follow patient scheduling and registration policies and document tasks.
  • Manage scheduling for special populations and programs.
  • Oversee end-of-day reconciliation of schedules and collections.
  • Coordinate on-site referrals and schedules for specialists.
