Job summary

UTMB Health in Texas City seeks a Patient Services Specialist II to support CLC Radiology Admin. This on-site role covers patient registration, scheduling, and coordination of clinical activities to ensure smooth access to services.

The position requires an Associate’s degree plus clerical or customer service experience; BLS may be required within 90 days. Shift is 7:00 am–7:00 pm, rotating with other team members.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and one year of clerical or customer service experience.
• 2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CLC front desk (multiple department check-in) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead responsibilities: function as a team leader and provide peer guidance.
• Provide high-level customer service in interactions with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Coordinate registration, scheduling, and financial counseling for procedures.
• Triage issues, communicate with departments to remove access obstacles, and maintain patient confidentiality.
