Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service in all interactions with internal and external customers.
• Answers calls with professional, knowledgeable interactions with patients and staff.
• Coordinates patient registration activities and facilitates access to UTMB services.
• Educates patients about billing, third-party coverage, and cost estimates.
• Obtains and documents information for third-party reimbursement and eligibility.
• Disposes of patient information securely and maintains confidentiality.
