Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related health care admin, financial, insurance customer service, claims, billing, call center or management experience.
• Senior level requires 2 years of related experience and 1 year of exact job experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain knowledge of current products and services offered by AdaptHealth.
• Answer inbound calls and emails in a timely manner to meet goals.
• Document all call information per SOPs and verify accuracy of information.
• Process orders, route calls to appropriate resources, and follow up as needed.
• Complete insurance verification to determine eligibility, coverage, and deductibles.
• Obtain pre-authorization when required and assist with physician orders for insurance approval.
• Navigate multiple EMR systems to gather documentation and enter data.
• Communicate trends with insurance carriers to Management.
• Meet quality assurance metrics and resolve customer issues with empathy.
