Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics in Maple Grove and Plymouth seeks a Patient Services Representative to handle patient registration, check-in, and front-desk support in a busy clinic. This full-time role has Monday–Friday hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scheduling, and coordinating with staff and interpreters as needed. A high school diploma, proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel, and strong customer service are required;

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff.
