Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Plymouth and Maple Grove clinics. This full-time role handles patient registration, check-in, and administrative support Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Join a physician-led team focused on patient-centered care and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting payments, scheduling, chart preparation, and interdepartmental communication.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current practices
• Schedule new and existing patients accurately and timely in the practice management system
• Communicate appointment details, directions, check-in times, referrals and copayments to patients
• Prepare and manage patient charts
• Maintain knowledge of health plan requirements and networks
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
• Rotate switchboard duties: handling calls, coordinating interpreters and referrals
• Perform other duties as assigned
