Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Florida in Wellington is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to deliver a true “Patients First” experience. You will handle patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and front-end/back-end clerical tasks while guiding patients through MyChart and appointment processes.

Shifts are 8 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with times subject to scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related experience or an equivalent education.
• Associate’s Degree with 1 year of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency with PC window applications to input and retrieve data.
• Ability to perform basic math for insurance co-pays.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, schedule visits and prepare for appointments.
• Perform telephone triage and verify insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and track patient records and scheduling data.
• Enter confidential information and support interpreter services when needed.
• Educate patients on MyChart and appointment processes; follow up as required.
• Support process improvement and maintain high levels of patient experience.
