Job summary

Select Medical in Spring, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and coordinate appointments at the outpatient physical therapy center. You will handle front desk duties, scheduling, and basic payer communications, contributing to a smooth patient experience from arrival through checkout.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accurate co-pay collection, and coordination with insurance and translation partners to support efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
