Job summary

Select Medical in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule visits, and handle co-pays while coordinating with insurance companies and outside partners.

This is a full-time on-site role with weekday hours and competitive benefits. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 1 year of front desk experience, and healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 Year Front Desk experience is preferred.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation services and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance verifications.
