Job summary

Mary Free Bed in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring for a Patient Access Representative in the Orthotics & Prosthetics + Bionics Department. Shifts: Day Shift, Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3pm.

You will greet and assist patients and families, collect demographic and insurance information, verify benefits, and schedule initial evaluations.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or Diploma; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, provide information, and assist patients and visitors at the check-in/out desk.
• Accurately collect and analyze demographic, insurance, and clinical data.
• Coordinate scheduling and initial evaluations for multi-disciplinary care.
• Provide clerical support to Scheduling and Patient Financial Services staff.
