Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Happy, welcoming, and can-do attitude with patients and coworkers.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Computer proficiency and typing speed ~55 wpm.
• Flexible/adaptable in a changing environment.
• Passion for helping others in healthcare.
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients and staff.
• Bilingual skills required or preferred based on site location.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Organize and coordinate patient intake and other appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with paperwork as needed.
• Scan, update, and file medical records.
• Answer calls and inquiries promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing as appropriate.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of waiting times and patient inquiries.
