Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients and manage intake at CityMD sites. You will coordinate appointments, verify information, and ensure timely, accurate registration while maintaining excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Bilingual abilities may be advantageous depending on location and site needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environment preferred.
• Typing speed ~55 wpm and computer proficiency required.
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients and staff.
• Bilingual skills may be required based on site location.
• Ability to sit/stand for periods; heavy computer use.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Coordinate patient intake and other appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system accurately.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork.
• Scan, update, and file medical records.
• Answer calls and inquiries promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Inform supervisor of wait times and patient inquiries.
