Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Front Desk Specialist to manage patient check-in, scheduling, and registration at our Pennington, NJ site. You will greet patients, verify demographics, and route calls to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 3 years in a medical office, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes, and proficiency in Word and Outlook. Strong communication and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting; EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage front desk duties to ensure smooth check-in/check-out.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; prepare patient charts.
• Answer multi-line phone calls and route to appropriate departments.
• Process co-pays and balances; collect and reconcile payments.
• Coordinate scheduling and referrals; assist with patient flow and privacy policies.
