Job summary

North American Medical Associates is seeking a reliable Office Assistant to support front desk operations and assist the clinical team. You will register and check out patients, collect Co-Pays, maintain records and explain common procedures.

Role requires strong customer service skills, professionalism, and experience in healthcare settings. Occasional travel between offices is required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Front desk duties including greeting patients and answering calls.
• Registering and checking out patients; collecting co-pays.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer phone; register and check out patients.
• Collect co-pays and balances; verify updated demographics.
• Record patient information in ECW; assist with MRI prior approvals.
• Assist with prior authorizations for medications; complete forms at check-in/out.
• Assist nurse and office manager with inventory and ordering materials.
• Support HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all tasks.
• Travel between offices for cross-coverage.
