Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months work experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Basic knowledge and use of computer and keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Reception, Check-ln, Check-out (where applicable).
• Greet and assist patients that present.
• Follow appropriate patient registration/check-in policies and procedures.
• Verify and/or update all demographic information.
• Working knowledge of Health Plan coverage types.
• Check in patients by following check-in policies and procedures.
• Determine patients membership/benefits according to the benefit display.
• Create accounts as necessary.
• Capture and populate workers compensation data.
• Manage electronic in-basket.
• Cash Handling, Reconciliation and Deposit.
• Handle cash according to the Cash Handling Responsibility Agreement.
• Reconcile shift and deposit funds according to the Cash Handling Responsibility Agreement.
