SynergenX, located in Atascocita, Texas, seeks a friendly Patient Services Coordinator for onsite part-time work supporting front-office operations and clinical tasks under licensed providers. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping with check-in, insurance explanations, and payments while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong organization, multitasking, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical office, medical assisting, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Understanding of insurance, billing, and patient payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check-in, and coordinate appointments.
• Explain insurance benefits and costs clearly.
• Collect and process patient payments.
• Maintain accurate patient and insurance data in the EHR.
• Answer calls, manage messages, and respond to emails.
• Complete daily cash reconciliation and End-of-Day records.
• Provide admin support and keep clinic flow efficient.
• Assist with patient rooming under provider direction.
• Maintain front desk and waiting area.
• Attend team meetings and training.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and clinic policies.
