AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Patient Service Center Coordinator I in California to provide outstanding customer service and support patients with medical and dental appointment scheduling.

The role includes handling calls, assisting with registrations, validating demographics and insurance, and guiding patients to appropriate departments. The position emphasizes accurate information delivery about AltaMed services and fostering a positive patient experience through teamwork and policy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients with scheduling, rescheduling and canceling medical and dental appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with patient registration, verify demographic and insurance information, and route calls to departments.
• Support daily call center operations by monitoring call flow and assisting with appointment confirmations.
• Communicate routine clinic updates and provide accurate information about AltaMed services to patients.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through effective communication, teamwork and adherence to policies and procedures.
