Job summary

First Flight Health Centers in Dayton, OH, seeks a Patient Service Representative I to support front-desk operations. You will prepare charts for patient visits, enter data into the EMR, verify insurance, and handle payments and scheduling duties.

You will greet patients, answer multi-line calls, transfer messages, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional service in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a health care facility preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills; NextGen and MS Office Suite use.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; multi-line phone handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update patient charts in EMR; enter patient information into the system.
• Notify clinical staff when a patient has arrived.
• Answer multi-line phones and route messages as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments and assist with collection/billing activities.
• Provide efficient office support and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
