Responsibilities include greeting patients, updating demographics, managing appointments, answering calls, collecting co-pays, entering data in the EMR, and coordinating with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with relevant experience in front desk or patient services.
• Experience delivering courteous, accurate customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
• Verify patient information and ensure paperwork is completed and signed. Enter/update demographics and insurance information in the system.
• Maintain appointment scheduling: schedule, coordinate, and adjust appointments; follow No-Show procedures; complete reminder calls.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and route to appropriate staff; disseminate information to clinical staff.
• Collect patient co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Prepare office batches and balance payments daily.
• Serve as liaison between patient and medical staff; liaise with insurance on referrals and scheduling.
• Check out patients and schedule future appointments.
• Maintain clean front desk and waiting area.
• Enter patient clinical information in EMR related to assigned tasks.
• Participate as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.
