Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Services Associate I to join the front desk team at our outpatient practice in Philadelphia. The role focuses on courteous patient check-in/check-out, accurate demographics, insurance verification, and scheduling via EPIC.

You will support a smooth patient flow and address concerns to maintain a positive experience. Evening and rotating shifts are part of the schedule, with one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes check in and check out, point of service activities and scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
